Replacement of Lost Passport
Requirements
Report from Saudi Immigration Authority (with English translation)
Clipping of news publication (with English translation, if in Arabic newspaper)
Affidavit of Loss
Copy of lost passport (if available)
Duly accomplished passport application form (no photo needed)
Procedure
Apply in person at the Embassy.
Submit the required documents (a-e) to the Consular Section counter no. 1 for verification and processing and issuance of invoice.
If lost passport was issued at the Embassy in Riyadh:
Pay the corresponding fee for lost passport (green, MRP or ePassport) and affidavit of loss, get your number and proceed to the enrolment/data capturing area and wait for your turn.
If lost passport was issued by another office:
Pay the corresponding fees for affidavit of loss and telex/verification and come back after two (2) weeks when the result of further verification to be made through telex or fax with the place of issuance of your lost passport shall have been received.
Report to the Consular Section counter no. 1 and present your first invoice to resume the process of your application and receive a new invoice for payment of the corresponding fee for lost passport (green, MRP or ePassport)
Upon payment at the cashier, get your number and proceed to the enrolment or data capturing area and wait for your turn.
IMPORTANT: Before signing the print-out of your ePassport application form, please make sure that all the data included therein are true and correct. Once you have signed the computer generated form, any erroneous data that will appear later on in your ePassport would be considered as your responsibility. This means that you can be charged the full ePassport fee for the issuance of a new ePassport to correct such error.
Visit the homepage of the Embassy website (www.philembassy-riyadh.org) and click on “New ePassports” to check if your ePassport is available and ready for releasing.
To claim your new ePassport (counter no. 3), bring your invoice as proof of payment.
Consular Fees: (i) affidavit: SR100.00 (ii) telex/verification: SR80.00 (iii) lost green passport or MRP: SR360.00 (iv) lost ePassport: SR600.00
