What is your company doing now is legal. You may please aware that in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ramadan working hours (6 hours) applicable only for Muslim employees. Working hours have been reduced from eight hours to six to enable Muslim employees to carry out their religious obligations with ease. Please read below mentioned Article 98.

During the month of Ramadan, the actual working hours for Muslims shall be reduced to a maximum of six hours a day or thirty-six hours a week’.
