What are the points to be included in a work contract between an employer and employee?
Ingredients of work contract deals with Article 52 of Saudi Labour Law. As per this Article, the work contract shall primarily include the following details.
1. Name of the employer
2. Venue of the employer
3. Name of the employee
4. Nationality of the employee
5. Identification of the employee
6. Wage agreed upon
7. Type and location of work
8. Date of employment
9. Duration of the contract if fixed.
These are the mandatory points. Any points which are not controversial with Saudi labour law can be included. Anything included against law will be null and void.
